Science Imitates Life: Bioinspired Robots

The little, mobile blobs are almost cute. They’d fit in as supporting actors in a Pixar movie. Yet they are also the product of a landmark advancement in bio-robotics. Made from frog stem cells, these creations, which sit at the intersection between AI, robotics, and biology, are called xenobots.
